Question: Question regarding the movie "There Will Be Blood"!?
I recently watched this 2007 release and read the dated review in the New York Times!. The reader write in reviews were numerous and highly polarized!. It was either love or hate which I can understand for certain "edgy" flicks but not really for this one!. Can anyone out in cyberland help me understand!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really disliked that movie!. Long, boring and disturbing!. Terrible ending!. Couldn't stand No Country for Old Men, either!.
I agree, with both of those movies, people seem to either love them or hate them!. Movie critics will drive you nuts--I ignore them and make up my own mind about a movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Daniel Day-Lewis gave a fine performance but the movie does not appeal to todays movie going crowd!.
It's more like a epic or old movie in it's pace!.
I did not enjoy it because I had heard it was "amazing" and kept waiting for it to get better!.

I think it goes back to the director of the movie!. Paul Thomas Anderson let the music/cinematography/landscape tell the story instead of having overwhelming dialogue, ala "Punch Drunk Love"!. Some people really like that!.!.!.I loved "There Will Be Blood" and "Punch Drunk Love!." Other people really hate it, and need those mainstream tools in their movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
