Gotham City, Illinois?!
Question: Gotham City, Illinois!?
After seeing "The Dark Knight" for the 5th time (safe to say I'm obsessed) I noticed something strange!. Most notably in the scene where Wayne crashed the Lamborghini, you can see Illinois license plates!. I know Gotham City is fictional and shooting took place in Chicago, but is this proof that Gotham City is in Illinois, and not fictional!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

They shot the movie in Chicago!. There is no real 'Gotham City' they just used that name because well it's batman and that's where the movie takes place!. The gotham city hospital was an old parking lot in chicago by my dad's work that they put the 'Gotham city hospital' sign on and blew it up!. It is a fictional city though, to answer your question!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they filmed the movie in chigaco'illinois but the movie is based on gontham city since they called the city that in the original comics!. The movie is fictional because it's based off the comic books known as DC!.

Gotham isnt real but in batman, its supposed to be New York, but in this movie, its shot in Chicago!.
no its not proof, if there was a real gotham city i would love to see all the policemen dressed as batman, that would be awesome, ha!
