I wouldn't say that it's too violent, but it may be too menacing for younger kids!. There are a lot of scenes that, while they may not depict any gory violence, contain a lot of *threats* of violence!. There's a lot of yelling and frightening speeches that may not sit well with a young child!.

I took my 3-year old son to watch another movie and the previews for Batman came on!.!.!.he said he was too scared!. So I agree, you shouldn't take any child under 13!. But then again, it depends on what your child is used to watching!. The scariest thing my child has watched is "Monster House" which is a kids movie!. So it really differs from child to child!. If there are sexual sceens or any scenes at all having to do with that nature, then I wouldn't have any child under 16 watch it!. But what I usually do is go and watch the movie myself, then if it was good enough, I waited for it on DVD and bought it for the whole family to watch!.

Honestly, that movies is a BadA$$ movie, two thumbs up, bringing batman to the point were you could actually picture how batman would be now in days, however, i personally wouldn't take my brother to see it until he's more aware that it is in fact movie because they are some very intense scenes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
That's the thing about this movie, it's kind of funny but violent at the same time!. I wouldn't take any kids younger than maybe 12 or 13 to see it!. Some of it's kind of freaky and would probably scare younger kids!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah it is kind of funny cuz of the joker!. but i wouldnt bring like 5 year olds to it theirs kinda a lotta violence and stuff like that!. in other words prob wouldn't be a good idea to bring kids under maybe like 9 or 10Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really didnt think i was as violent as i thought it was gonna be!.!. there are some jumpy and gross/bloody/killing parts!. probably not kid appropriate but deffinently worth seeing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
