There was an interview with Gary Oldman that seriously eluded to The Riddler!.!.!.!. I think that could be very cool if it was done in a calculating "Se7en"esque type way!.!.!.
Aside from that heavy fan based rumor seems on Catwoman as well!.!.!. I'd love to see a version of Catwoman really true to the comics, and dark!.!.!.
After the flop "Batman & Robin" I don't think Nolan or *ANYONE* are touching Freeze or Poison Ivy again (or Robin or Batgirl for that matter) Actually Oldman also said Nolan will never touch Batgirl in an interviewWww@Enter-QA@Com

I would agree with Buffy, that a "sevenish" type Riddler would be the best bet along with Catwoman in the mix!. Nolan wants to keep this world of batman based in reality, a psychopathic serial killer type that uses riddles would fit Nolan's world, I think, if Catwoman shows up it's due to fan pressure, Then again I hear rumors of Penguin played by Philip Seymour Hoffman!. Just don't want to Catwoman and Penguin together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
There are a wealth of villains, but since Christopher Nolan (director and co-writer of "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight") has thus far favored more iconic Caped Crusader foes!.!.!. I would bet on the Riddler or Catwoman!.
Both villains MAY have been foreshadowed in "Knight!." There's the scene where Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) is showing Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) the new Batman suit and inquires how it will stand up against dogs!. Lucius laughs and says it should at least do well against cats!.
And the name of the Wayne Enterprises employee who discovers Bruce is Batman and tries to blackmail him is named Colman Reese (Joshua Harto)!. Mr!. Reese!. Say it out loud!. Mysteries!. Is he the Riddler!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
