Basically you would have to be VERY lucky!.
Tickets are distributed at the theater where the movie will be shown about 1 week prior to the screening!. To get a ticket you have got to be present at the theater and sometimes tickets are distributed non-randomly to create a more diverse audience from which to gauge reactions!. also, the name of the film that you will see in the screening will probably be withheld until you are sitting in your seat waiting for the film to start!.
It is likely that, like the previous Harry Potter films, the 6th will screen in Chicago!. I happen to live near the theater where the other HP films have screened and have already called to see if there are any screenings scheduled for next month!. According to a theater rep!., there are no screenings scheduled for August!. However, due to the "top secret" nature of the Harry Potter screening it is possible that the theater rep was not entirely honest!.
