How do you sort your DVDs?!
Question: How do you sort your DVDs!?
Do you sort them by age!? Are you anal and sort them alphabetically!? or do you just shove them on the shelf!?!?
I only wonder as I'm taking a break from sorting mine, originally they were by age (18s working down) but so many have just been shoved back they are all out of order lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

I used to try to sort them alphabetically but now got more dvds than space to put them, some still in boxes from moving!. Therefore now they are just put anywhere on the shelf that they will fit!. The only movies that get grouped together are ones part of series such as Die Hard 1, 2, 3, and 4!. I do group my Stephen King movies together incase i feel like watching one of those!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I must be very un-organised as they just get bunged into the dvd racks!.
Although your idea of organising them in order of certificate is a good idea!. I am considering sorting them by genre, then if I fancy a certain type it'll be easier to find!

Yeah I do the same!. Age certificate order, but I go the opposite way, and my collection goes from left to right!. It starts off with all the Universals and Parental Guidance (basically I only tend to get animated films for these) and then making its way to the 18 rated films!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
All my DVDs, CDs, and games are in alphabetical order - one day I was bored so I put my CD's in alphabetical order and it just started from there - now when someone borrows a DVD and they don't put it back in the right place I actually get annoyed!!

By country made and subject!. I'm from italy and lived in France, Spain, Germany and the United States, so I have separate shelves for each country's movies!. One each shelf, I have comedies, action, romance, etc!. together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have half my DVD collection in one room, scattered everywhere, and the other half (the half that I actually watch) in my room!. They're sorted all anyhow except for series/trilogies etc - they are in order!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I sort mine by what they are e!.g comedy,horror etc!.!., different shelves for different ones, Im afraid I have to admit to making a database for them cos i couldnt remember what i had / hadnt got!.

Nah!.!.!.I just shove them on the shelf and then when Im in the mood for watching a movie, I just browse the entire shelf and whatever peeks my interest, gets to enter the DVD player :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
