The trailers look pretty neat!. It seems more about the battle scenes which is also cool!. Ive liked the Star Wars movies but thought they needed beefed up a little bit in terms of action!. I know its animated but still I think it might be worth seeing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd like to preface this by saying that i'm a big Star Wars fan!. Have been since i was a little kid!. I'm now 37!.
First, I'll give you a little background on the movie!. It started out as a new cartoon series to be aired on Cartoon Network this fall!. Lucas and crew had the idea for a film after viewing some of the already completed footage on the big screen!. This movie is considered a lead-in to the weekly series!.
I am looking forward to the movie very much!. From what I have seen from the trailers and other video on www!.starwars!.com, this will be an action packed movie!.
Some peolpe who have responded to your question are misinformed!. This movie is not an extended version of the cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network a few years ago!. This movie is set between Episodes 20 and 21 from that series!. The stories that you see in this movie and the subsequent series have not been told yet!. It really bugs me when people make quick decisions about things without getting all the facts first!.
Lucas has also never said that he would make any movies based on the Expanded Universe!. The Expanded Universe is created by many different authors!. Anything that Lucas makes himself (i!.e!. The Clone Wars Movie, The Clone Wars tv series, and the upcoming unnamed life action tv show) will be original stories created and approved by George Lucas himself!. So don't hold your breath for the Thrawn Trilogy!. He already has close to 2 seasons worth of shows for the Clone Wars tv series, and plans on it going for 5-6 years!.

I think if the movie is considered a success, what you might see happen is Lucas will green-light new animated movies based on the Expanded Universe series!.

All it is is an extended version of the cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network a few years ago!. It won't be good since its set after episode 2 and everything new trilogy sucks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
