Question: I have a question about Darth/Anakin,,,
I saw IV, V & VI when first released years ago and only recently bought the 3 dvd set as well as I, II, & III!. (I barely watched I, II, & III, finally this year, 08)!. As I remember, at the end of VI, Luke see's Yoda, Obi-wan, and Anakin, at the age they were when they "died"!. Yet, when I watched this new DVD set, I no longer see the old Anakin, I see the young one from III!.
Was this changed so a link could be made!? Or am I mistaken!?
also, What is the time span between III and IV!?

Like you said they wanted to put a link between the two series and also Anakin died as a Jedi when he looked like Hayden, thats another reason why they changed it!. There is a good time span between the III and IV!. I want to say maybe like 20 years because of how old the babies are in III compared to IV and how old Obi Wan is too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's because in the new series the old anakin is not playing and when the new generation watch the Star wars VI they would be confused to see the old actor, that is why they have placed it with Hayden Christensen!.

Yes, Lucas changed it to Hayden Christensen when he remastered the DVDs!.

Sebastian Shaw played the ghost of "Old Anakin" at the end of the original version of ROTJ!. After the DVD re-release, he was replaced with Hayden Christianson!. You are not mistaken!.
