Dark Knight up for Best Picture?!
Question: Dark Knight up for Best Picture!?
I know the Academy awards usually don't nominate summer blockbusters for Best Picture, but those guys can't ignore the fact that The Dark Knight is not an ordinary superhero film and that it's also the best reviewed film of the year!. So, do you guys think it will be up for Best Picture!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think so!. well at least i think it should!. It was an excellent movie and i don't know why they wouldn't nominate it!. I hope they do and if they don't then I'll be very disappointed!. I mean it might even beat Titanic in box office sales! Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't feel it had the dialogue or storyline necessary for a Best Picture nom!. It wasn't the best movie I've seen so far this year!. Heath will probably get his nomination and the movie might get nom!. for costume or special effects or some crap like that but not Best Picture!. Just my opinion, allowed to have it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Definitely! That movie was BRILLIANT! I know Heath Ledger might be up for a posthumous best actor!. That would be cool!. I liked Christian Bale better though!. : D But I dont think it will win(even though it should)!. The people who choose always pick some random movie not that many people have heard of!. Like last year , No Counrty For Old Men won!. I never even heard about it till that night!Www@Enter-QA@Com
There are more deserving films, like In Bruges!. The script is so much better, it doesn't suffer from the bad cinematography and acting that The Dark Knight does!. I thought Bale and Gyllenhall were terrible, and the others were only 'average'!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think this could happen!. It is a very strong plot and the community has expressed that they believe Chris Nolan to be a visionary director!. I would say they could get the nom and possibly the win!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
