Tim Burton's Batman Movies!

Question: Tim Burton's Batman Movies
First two batman movies directed by Tim Burton!. I just fell in love with these two films when I was a kid!. And no matter how many times I keep watching, doesn't get bored!.

I recently see many people bashing Tim Burton's Batman, so I want to know what YOU think!.

-------------------------------
By the way, I liked the Dark Knight, but not the best Batman movie for me!. Especially, the way Nolan treated Scarecrow and Two-Face was terrible!. <But I still think it is a great movie so plz do not bash would you!?>Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I loved Batman Begins and The Dark Knight but also grew up watching Batman and Batman Returns!. I can appreciate all of these movies for very different reasons!. Nolan gives us a real life Batman whereas Tim Burton gives us the opportunity to actually step into the comic book!. And that's a risky thing to do with the story of Batman if you really think about it because it is so gritty and real to begin with!. It's the opposite of every other comic book story because Batman is dark and the villains are colorful!. Burton handled it perfectly!. So I like both, I wouldn't bash any Batman movies except Batman Forever and Batman and Robin for OBVIOUS reasons:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love d Tim Burton's Batman movies when I was younger!. I still enjoy the first one, not so much the one with catwoman and Penguin!. I though Michael Keaton was one of the better Batmen!.

Those bashing these movies are comparing apples to oranges!. The mood the styles are completely different, the sotires are a bit different, (the back story of his parents getting killed) That first Batman with keaton and Nicholson is great but that doesn't and shouldn't take away anything from the greatness of the more recent B-man films!. They can both be awsome because they are both so different they just so happen to be based around the Batman characters!.

They can bash alll they want!. But they are not keeping an open mind to the time when it was released, the subects, the director/writer, content!.

Brad: Burton didn't do Batman forever, Joel Shumacher did!. Burtan is a style all his own!. He knows how to make lighting besically give character to a film!. You can't deny that he's a great director even if you hate the movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

ICK!

Tim "I have never read a comic book in my life" Burton was possibly the worst choice to do the Batman movies!. And Mike Keaton was the worst to cast as Batman!. Even the bat suit looked horrible and stiff!. Mike Keaton had to bend all the way back just to look up!.

Watching Tim's version it looked really really cheesy!. And seeing Mike Keaton as Batman took me right out of the whole movie going experience because he looked ridiculous pretending to be Batman!. I could not take him seriously!.

Not a big fan of live action super hero movies because most of them suck major c0ck and balls, but Christian Bale actually looks like someone who could possibly be Batman!.

also, Batman is supposed to be a master of multiple forms of unarmed combat!. But nothing in Tim's version showed that!.

Jack Nicholson basically copied everything he did in the Shinning and threw on some extra makeup!.

Batman the Animated series (the Emmy award winning one and NOT that stupid Kids WB version) did the best job at portraying the Dark Knight!. Justice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond also did excellent jobs!. And Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker the unedited version was the best animated Batman movie!. It even explains what happened to one of the Robins!.

And if you're saying that's what you like, then I have nothing more to say!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Tim Burton is amazing! However, I think it takes a special kind of person to appreciate his genius!. As for Batman, I love all of them except for Batman and Robin!. The Dark Knight is my favorite, because of the Joker!. The two newer Batman movie seem to try and make it more realistic like, less comic book like!. So it depends on what you like better!. I like both ways!. My favs in order would be The Dark Knight, Forever, Begins, Batman, Returns, Batman and Robin!. I think it also depends on actor choice, script and director for how the film will be!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The movie i watched was The Dark Knight i thought it was a good movie and they did good on the joker's and two face's make up i think hes a good dierector and did a good job!.

I also watched Batman Forever directed by tim burtan with the riddler and i liked that movie alot to in my opinion batman and all the diffrent villians makes it great to make movies out of!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Tim Burton's batman was more garish n darker than the current ones altho ledger does a fantastic job n is tipped for an oscar nomination!.
aftr all, it was his 1989 batman dat started this whole wave of comic-book style visuals!. i doubt any1 can top jack nicholson in the portrayal of The Joker!.
Note to buffs: the 1989 movie got oscar for Best Production Design!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm with you, I couldn't sleep at night when I was a kid because I wanted to see Tim Burton's Batman again and again! I wanted to be Batman so bad! I think I love it so much because I was a kid when I saw it and will always have that sentimental feeling when watching it agian!. But as an adult The Dark Knight is a very good movie!. I grew up on the first 2 batmans!!

He was my child hood hero! and not to mention crush!! LOL Michael Keaton was a HOT batman!.

Every since those two, I haven't felt to same about the Batman movies!. I did, however, go see the DARK KNIGHT opening night!. I was excited to see it when I found out Heath was playing the JOKER b/c Heath has the perfect natrual Joker smile!.!.!. then when he passed away it just put such a darkness on the film!. I believe that is the one reason why that film is being so hyped up and Tim Burton is getting bashed!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I still like Burton's films more than Nolan's!. They were less pretentious and preachy and the fights/action is still far superior!.

I also much prefer Michael Keaton over Christian Bale!. Whenever Bale growls as Batman, I feel like I'm watching pro-wrestling or something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love all of the batman movies!. I think Batman is just a really cool super hero!. Millionare by day, crime fighter by night!. I do like the newest movies interpretation of the character better than any version though!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

i liked the first bat-flim tim burton directed-though time has not be kind!.i don't think the second film was very good- it was kinda of cheesy,a little campy, and how does catwoman cut thru the bat-suit when it had been stopping bullets!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

well i really like the old ones better but the new ones are good!. Tim Burton is my all time fav dirctor in my eyes he can do no wrong and my fav batman movie is batman returns Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally think that the dark knight is cooler, yet less batmanish!. Burton's portrayal was more batman then a twist on batman like nolan!. They're different, and both are excellent!. BUt I have to go with nolanWww@Enter-QA@Com
