what are the chances of the joker returning!? ok, we know heath died but the show must go on right!? so, lets say heath didn't die and the joker didn't die in the movie!. we assume the cops got him right!? or did he escape from the cops!? that story is a mystery!.!.!. so, what r the chances of seeing the joker in batman 3!? they left this movie as a mystery!? is two face really dead!? where is the joker!? is he really in prison!? and maggie who played rachel sign up to play batman 3, so is she really dead!? let's say heath ledger didn't die like you mentioned, then i would say that they would most definitely have the joker return because the joker is the biggest and most recurring villain in batman!. just maybe!. depending on how many more of these they plan on making!.!.!.
i personally don't believe that two-face is really dead because he wasn't in the movie for very long!.!.!.but!.!.who knows!.

well the story of batman will continue, but we just have to assume the joker was taken in by the SWAT team!. i bet if heath lived it would have been him escaping and continuing with batman!.
