It took me a long time to decide to watch it mainly because of the extremely poor description for it that shows up in the on-screen cable guide~something about a demonic rabbit from the future predicting the end of the world!. True, it's difficult to describe in a snippet, but I had visions of "Harvey" gone bonkers!
Finally, I watched it and didn't think a great deal about it!. I found it interesting because I love time travel as a topic!. There were familiar faces I was happy to see, from Jake Gyllenhaal to Beth Grant, from Drew Barrymore to Patrick Swayze!. Everyone turned in an impressive performance!. I could have done without the nastier part of the Smurfs conversation, but nasty is fairly typical in most films I fear!.
I found myself thinking about the film for several days after, and I realized that I wanted to watch it again, especially because I enjoy puzzle films such as this, "Trauma" with Colin Firth, "November" with Courteney Cox, 'The Dark" with Sean Bean, etc!.
So, I've watched it many times, and I've placed it on many suggestion lists!. As is usual for many cult films, it's come around to the point that attackers are multiplying, writing it off!. Well, I'm not a youngster, I'm not what is called "emo", and I'm not hopping on the cult bandwagon, as I first saw the film long before I heard/read people discussing it!. So, there must be much more to this, as I consider myself somewhat picky about the films I place among my favorites!. After all those viewings, "Donnie Darko" continues to entertain me and make me think!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That movie was a humongous piece of cinematic fecal matter, and a complete waste of time!.
The best is when people "try" to explain to me what's going on when THEY still don't have a freakin' clue after seeing it again for the umpteenth time!.

I love that film ! , whenever its on telly i have to watch it , the mood and tone the film sets from the start is great and it has a good soundtrack with a brill song called the killing moon !.!.
