he is a nihilist and anarchist who we assume suffered a lot in the past and has been driven insane by it!. he no longer cares for himself and in fact dedicates his life to trying to convince the world that his psychosis is not that far removed from normal citizens!. he might embrace anarchy but he is not totally anarchic, he is highly intelligent and plans things down to the last detail!. he is also clearly deeply paranoid and is a loner!. he is in many ways a parallel to batman, altho he has no moral centre, whereas of course, batman does!. finally, he clearly despises himsself and has a deathwish, but he wants it on his own terms!. he is a very interesting and complicated character, very contradictory in many waysWww@Enter-QA@Com
His philosophy is that everyone can be evil if given the right circumstances!. Morbid, but he proves it right on at least one occasion!. You should really see it, it is definitely the best movie of the summer! :D but I would recommend watching the prequel 'Batman Begins' first, it explains alot :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
