The Mexican movies from the thirties and fourties featuring the comedian Tin Tan were the prototype Norteno films, Basically, anything else would fall into the Sureno camp until the fifties basically erased any regional differences!.
When I lived in New Mexico and had access to a channel broadcast from Mexico, I saw quite a few Tin Tan movies very late at night!. Unfortunately, it seems to be very difficult to buy copies of any Mexican movies made before the early seventies anywhere in the United States Perhaps the best way to buy Sureno and Norteno movies would be to contact a distributor of Spanish language DVD/video tapes in Mexico!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
