Jack Nicholson made a pledge to the parents of the little girl that got killed at the beggining!.!.!. He is the only one that supects that the murder was the work of a serial killer (everyone thought it was the native american)!.!.!. so Nicholson becomes obessed with catching the real killer!.
At the end he uses his girlfreind s daughter as bait, to catch the real killer that is on his way, you see the killer took the bait he was about to get arrested but!.!.!.!. the killer gets involved in a car accident before arriving to the police trap!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
Of course no ones knows the killer was involved in an accident, so everybody thinks Jack Nicholson is crazy and that he put the life of a child in danger for no reason!.!.!.!. son his girlfriend leaves him, and he ends up crazy, with no job and no woman!.!.!.!. sadWww@Enter-QA@Com
