'Interview With a Vampire' was better than 'Queen of the Damned', for me!. I couldn't really get into 'Queen of the Damned'!.
Another good vampire movie, it was popular in it's day, was 'The Lost Boys'!. You may or may not like it, it wasn't penned by Anne Rice!. 'The Lost Boys came out in the late 80's, but I think they are planning a sequel sometime soon!. That might have just been a rumor though, who knows!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think Interview with the Vampire is a far superior movie than Queen of the Damned with far better cast and acting!. Watch it if you haven't seen it yet, although Lestat was there he's not the main character!.The only recent vampire movie I've seen was 30 Days of Night!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Interview with a vampire is really good!. Its basically a vampire telling his story of how he became a vapire to this reporter!. Whule he tells it, they actually show what happeneed!. And its got Tom Cruise, Bradd Pitt and Kirsten Dunce in it!.

I suggest Near Dark by director kathryn bigelow!. None with any Anne Rice characters!.!.!.but Awesome!. And try 'Kindred!.!.!.the Embrace'!.
