the first one wasnt really true to the game itself but had a better story and the second one u seen all of your favorite mortal kombat moves such as cyrax throwing to toxic net scorpions teleport and harpoon sub zero ice clone and ice bridge shoa khun skull smasher night wolf tomahok throw and animalities with horrible cg may i add, but overall if u like the video game for the specials mk 2 and if u like a more grounded better story plot mk1
