They are seriously consider making another one!? Oh gosh!. I hope not!. Definitely not a good idea!. Stop it now while you can, I say!! The Indiana Jones series is awesome, but they are running it to the ground!.
The newest Crystal Skull one was HORRid!. For instance, those two guys in the beginning fighting with Ford and LeBeouf!.!.!.!.!.did that ever even lead to anything!? What was the meaning of it!? And, LeBeuof being helped out by monkeys and swinging through the trees - hahahahahaha!. It was soooo bad!. I won't go see a new one next time around, that's for sure!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The introduction of Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf) in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has led to speculation that he will take over the franchise from Ford!. In an interview with IGN, "[Spielberg] indicated that LaBeouf has to make multiple Transformers movies before he can move over and take on the fedora and bullwhip of Indiana Jones!." The actor himself said, "Am I into it!? Who wouldn't be!? I don't think that's reality!. It's a fun rumor!." Ford said he would return for a fifth film if it doesn't take another twenty years to develop, while Spielberg responded it would happen "only if you [the audience] want more"!.

While at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, he revealed his idea "to make Shia [LaBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison [Ford] come back like Sean Connery did in [the third film]"!. Lucas has also said that age will not be a factor, as Ford was "65 and did everything in Crystal Skull!. The old chemistry is there, and it's not like he's an old man!. He's incredibly agile; he looks even better than he did 20 years ago, if you ask me"!. In August 2008, Lucas was researching potential plot devices, and stated Spielberg was more open to the idea of the fifth film!. He also changed his mind about continuing the series with a spin-off, joking "Indiana Jones is Indiana Jones!. Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones!. They have talked about making another Indiana Jones movie but it will be with the son!. Instead of Harrison Ford it will be Shia LaBeouf continuing on according to what i read on scifi!.com news!.

It's almost like they NEED to make another after the Crystal Skull!.!.!.I grew up watching Indiana Jones, and I loved the first 3!. They were light-hearted, fun adventures!. There was an element of the supernatural in them, but nothing too weird that didn't fit in with the 1930s adventurer groove!. But this latest one!.!.!.wow! What happened!?!
I liked the fact that they used the crystal skulls (these are ACTUAL archaeological artifacts with mysterious properties; fits right in with Indiana Jones's world, wouldn't you say!?)!.
I like the whole "crawling around in graveyards and lost Mayan temples!." Again, fits right into the Indy universe!.
There was a bad guy we could hate!. I didn't mind the Communists as the cold war era "bad guys" (Stalin was a jerk, after all, to say the least) just like the Nazis were the 1930s bad guys!.
I didn't mind the introduction of Indy's son (though Mutt is a stupid name)!.
**SPOILER ALERT!.!.!.SOME POSSIBLE SPOILERS**
But what the heck happened!? All of the sudden, the stunts get ridiculous (the whole vine swinging thing)!.!.!.and there are aliens (when did this become the X-Files!?) and the ending (won't spoil it for anyone; see aforementioned X-Files reference), i mean, it just didn't belong in the weird archaeological universe of Indiana Jones!. They tried to do too much, and they got away from what made Indy great!.
So maybe they SHOULD make another movie, and ease the throttle back a little!. By the time a 4th and 5th movie roll around, let's just stick to the formula we know and love!. For now, I'm going to just watch the original three and pretend I didn't see the fourth one!.
