I was pretty much going to say the same thing!.!.!.a film that regardless of commercial success or critical acclaim (or disdain!), still managed to produce a very devoted, loyal following of fans!. Cult classics include!.!.!.

One thing to realize is that as a younger generation, some older films may be introduced to you that you've heard of and may assume are famous movies!. Be prepared to be disappointed when it turns out the movie was a HUGE bomb in theaters and many people hate it! That's how it was when I learned of Rocky Horror!. I'd heard the title so often in general media, I assumed it must be one of the GREATEST films of all time!.!.!.yeah!.!.!.not so much!

The term cult film is used to describe a film that has had little to no success commercially and critically upon its initial release but has later spawned a small, but devoted and usually obsessive fanbase, however there are various exceptions!.
