okay so here's a short synopsis!.!.
there's a college couple that decides to go on road trip to see the gf's friends, and for them to meet the bf!. so, they're on the road and its dark and pouring!.!.!. then all of a sudden, the bf swerves and avoids hitting a guy standing directly in the center of the road!. the bf thinks he should help, but the gf doesn't feel comfortable, so they drive on!. ten miles down, they stop at a gas station and the bf notices that the man before was able to get a ride from a trucker!. he feels guilty for leaving the man in the rain!.!. and is caught agreeing to give him a ride!. after he agrees, everything goes sour for the couple!.

I'm pretty sure it's The Hitcher!. If there is an awesome car chase scene with the song "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails playing in the background; it's definitely The Hitcher!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
