All of the above!. Hollywood's so focused on making money and not offending anyone over anything, that it's crushed all the creativity and talent out of existence!.
Alejandro Jodorowsky used the phrase(and I don't think I'm too far out of context either) "The morality of the stupid" to describe this very thing!. Basically it boils down to what I've been saying for years--morons are loose--and most of them are in either politics or the entertainment industry!.

Because a lot of films are made a 12A or 15 on purpose so more people can see them so they make more money!.
