Why can children act in rated R movies, but not see them in theaters?!

Question: Why can children act in rated R movies, but not see them in theaters!?
I've always been frustrated when i want to see a horror movie or any other rated R movie, but neither my mom or dad wants to see it, then, i can't see it in theaters and usually have to wait for it to come out on DVD!.

On the other hand, so many children ACT in rated R movies!.!.!.

It just doesn't make sense and just really pisses me off :(

so what if we are under 17, what do they think we will do, start crying from a little reflection in a mirror and then sue the theater!.!.!., come on

please no rude or smart a*s answersWww@Enter-QA@Com

its because the kids are acting in it not watching!. they don't see all the special effects and everything that might make the movie violent or scary!. they need parental permission to act as well (although whose going to refuse if you're getting paid a couple o grand) the actor also isn't watching the whole thing straight through they are doing bits at a time!. maybe watching the whole thing through is more intense than little pieces!. at the preview screening they may see their co actors acting more than the character having worked with them!. it is a litle unfair though but i guess if they've put their energy into it they deserve to see it!. in answer to your other question ratings are put in place as a guide line not law!. parents can go with you and see it but you can't see it by yourself legally!. if things weren't rated we could see what we like!. but please imagine for a second that a five year old is watching a horror movie like sweeny todd!. they would be freaked out because they aren't mature enough to handle it!. if your parents don't want you to see it at the movies it's so you can turn it off on dvd if you don't like it!. at the movies you pay $10 and if you walk out scared you have wasted your money more because you didn't see the whole thing and you paid for something that scared you!. on dvd if you rent it it is half price and you can even fast forward over pieces you don't like!. i know it isn't fair that we can't all see what we want but some things just aren't suitable for younger children!. hope that helpedWww@Enter-QA@Com

If you notice, as a child, if you want to see a Rated R movie, you can!.!.!.with adult permission!.
As in the making of the movies!.!.!.the children need parent/gaurdian permission to act!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because they aren't seeing the whole movie!. They are seeing scenes as they are being built!. They probably don't even see the whole movie until a special screening!. also they are actors so they get more privileges then you and meWww@Enter-QA@Com

The actors have a different perspective than the audience!. They're not seeing the final result when they're just acting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
