godzilla 1998 was a great film and have alot of good memories from it!. at the end of the film there was an egg which survived the blast i was wondering that the new film which is coming out in 2009 is linked (Godzilla 3d) and if not will there be one coming out which will be linked

There's not going to be anything linked to the 1998 version,though I still think it's the best Godzilla movie ever!.At the time I think they even made Broderick sign an option for a second movie to get the part,they were that sure it would work out!.Unfortunately I think it pretty much died right there!. This new one is just that,a totally new one I think!.

Let's all hope that no more Americanized versions of the Godzilla movies come out!.
The original Japanese versions are the best because they don't take themselves seriously!. Which is why they can have a 100 foot tall monster doing Karate moves!.
