Which is your favourite Alfred Hitchcock movie?!
Question: Which is your favourite Alfred Hitchcock movie!?
Answers:
Vertigo!. It's his most technically sound film, and James Stewart and Kim Novak are perfect in the film!. I'm so excited TCM is playing it tonight!.
But I like Rope, too, because it's atypical in that the real love story is between a man and a man not a man and a woman, very atypical Hitchcock!. Great director, though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

either rope or north by northwest!.
rope because it's shot in 10 takes!. It's amazing acting, and camera work to pull that kind of movie off!. Great story too
north by northwest!. It's action, it's suspenseful, it's just amazing story, and camera work!. Love the chase scene at the end on the top of mount rushmore!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Rear Window!.
I love the opening sequence where JS's knickknacks tell the story of his life without one word being uttered!.
I like the way GK stuttered her lines in some scenes!. It gave it a reality!.
I think overall the sound of the movie is what I like best!. It has such a realistic backdrop of everyday noises!.
I also like The Problem with Harry because it's so completely implausible, the acting isn't great, and the reason SM left Harry makes absolutely no sense!.
My favorite part of the movie is when The Beaver is asked why he wants his dead rabbit back and his response is that it already got him a frog!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Probably The Birds!. It's scary (well aren't they all), but the scens of them driving along with the caged lovebirds in the back seat swaying when they go around a bend is hilarious too, a great bit of directing!.
It also led to some great scenes in the Mel Brooks spoof High Anxiety!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
