Answers:
He uses both!. He has a lot of different names!. Aragorn is his "royal" name, it shows his birthright as a descendant of kings!. He is called Strider when he is going incognito as a Ranger, and that's how the Rangers know him and the men in the north!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Strider was only a nickname or an alias he used to hide his true identity as Aragorn, son of Arathorn!.
It is during they stay at Rivendale where Legolas speaks the Aragorn name the first time during the movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
