Why is this movie getting such great reviews!?

This was not a biting satire; it was mind-numbing, asinine jokes!. This movie was offensive to our intelligence!.
The beginning held great promise, but even the acting of Robert Downey Jr!. couldn't save this terrible excuse for a script!. Stiller has worked on this for 10 years!? Are you kidding me!? I thought two guys sat down with a quarter of weed and just sat around for 2 hours saying "!.!.!. and then what if THIS happened!?"
I wasn't taken aback by the portrayals of the mentally-challenged or Robert Downey Jr!. in blackface (brilliant idea), I just thought this movie was stupid!.

Yes, I actually felt the same as you!. I've had such high expectations for the movie and I just left the theaters disappointed!. I mean Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr!. are great actors, and I also agree about the blackface idea, it's brilliant, but it just wasn't as good as I thought!.
It's not the most overrated movie ever, but it's one of the most overrated films I've ever seen!.
