It never reveals Sophie's dad!. I think that's probably better for the story if you don't know, keeps you guessing!. But my personal opinion is that her dad is Sam because she had a great artistic ability similar to his!. Of course, she could just draw really well, but I didn't see any resemblence to Bill or Harry!.
