Question: Is star trek: tng or star trek: voyager better!?
i grew up watching voyager and loved it from the start, however ive just bought the entire series of tng and absolutely love it, i don't know which one is better!?

I love them both!. For being "better" I would go with TNG!. Voyager's special effects were a lot better at the time and some great action packed episodes like "Year of Hell" but, TNG had some better story plots!. Voyager had some episodes that were really stupid including: "Living Witness", "11:59", etc; they were so pointless in the progression of the series; however, TNG did have its dumb episodes to but, not as stupid!. TNG's crew was better disciplined and Picard was a lot better at being in command, since mainly it was a complete Federation crew!. Voyager was mostly Federation and Maquis crew and although it was supposed to run under Federation protocol there was always a seperation between the two crew!. They had to crew screw around a lot two which under Picard he wouldn't of tolerated it!. Not too mention the relationships on Voyager seemed really forced and were devoloped stuipidly!. Especially when 7 of 9 got on board (ok, shes a bombshell totally HOT!) Kim wanted to get her, then the EMH, then Q jr lol, in End Game it was Chakotay that ended up with her; not to mention even the producer was going out with her lol!. On TNG relationships were not really the main focus of the series, they were there but it was in one episode or very minor!. It downgraded Voyager!. In addition, all the good stories on Voyager are between seasons 1-4 beyond that there is not too many good episodes!. while TNG got better and better as the series progressed!. I was sad when TNG ended!. The way they ended Voyager was very stupid they left the story unfinished, OK so, it's in the alpha quadrent except they left so many unanswered questions like what happend with the crew!. Overall TNG was better, quality was higher, crew was better, stories were better developed!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Overall, I'd say that TNG is better because of the many original storylines!. Voyager used many of the TNG plots throughout its run!. But you could also say the same thing for TNG when comparing it to Star Trek (original)!.
Check out Star Trek Deep Space 9!. Many of those plot lines are very dramatic and deal with serious issues!. Especially when it comes to war crimes and victims of war!.
Regardless of which series, it is fun to watch them!. also, I am very glad to see a young lady who enjoys good sci-fi!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

TNG is the best of the franchise series!. It has Picard, Data, and Q!. All three which make for intriguing dilemmas and realizations about humanity!. I never really likes any of the other series that much!. But DS9 is probably better than Voyager and way better than Enterprise!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
