Toughie, Terminator 3 ruined the trilogy!.
Alien 3 ruined it but got a bit of credit back with no!.4!.
Predator one without doubt the better of the two and IMO one of the best films ever!.

They all have their poor installments I'm afraid - Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 are great (but for Alien 3 you must watch the 'Assembly Cut' (available on DVD) as it's so much better than the theatrical release)!. Alien 4 is a dismal failure, as are the two Alien Vs Predator movies for that matter!.
Terminator and Terminator 2 are great, but Terminator 3 is a bit iffy!.
Predator is great, but Predator 2 is lousy!.
Overall I would pick the Alien Quadrilogy (Alien is an absolute masterpiece), but avoid Alien 4 like the plague - burn the disc or use it as a coaster!. Anything is better than watching such a lousy film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I actually like T3 and thought this was the only series that got better with each movie!. It all made sense at the end and didn't feel like the plot had to cheat!.
Aliens was awesome, but slowly went down hill each time!.
Predator 2 had some interesting ideas but was a big let down from the first one!.

Of these 3 I would have to say Terminator !.!.!. because
1!. I loved Aliens 1-3 but hated the 4th - reaching but no grasp!
2!. I loved the Predator double but the first one was just OK - Arnold is not a great actor!. Loved the second one with Danny Glover!.
3!. The Terminator trology and the AVP was AWESOME! !.!.!. and now I can watch the Sarah Conner Chronicles on TV - excellent all the way around!.

The first two films in both the Alien and Terminator series are excellent, though the later installments in both series are pretty lame!.
I liked the first Predator, but not the second!.

Alien for sure because they were all well done and scary!. Terminator 3 was terrible and predator 2 was terrible as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
