What's a good female protagonist in recent Hollywood film?!
Question: What's a good female protagonist in recent Hollywood film!?
I feel like Hollywood is slowly becoming in capable of making a a decent female protagonist and I would like to see someone prove me wrong!. Any takers!? Oh, and here's a little criteria:
-No non-character, antihero, bimbo with a gun, types!. Like any Resident Evil movie!. But god knows I'll still get some by the truck load!.
-Depth and character are important!.
-Something in recent film, say, with in the last 5 years!.
-Something from Hollywood, so no foreign and no independent films!.
-And I did say protagonist, not antagonist, not supporting character!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmmm, no guns!? I was about to suggest Angelina Jolie in "Wanted" but oh well!. If you're looking for a slow movie you can check out 2005's Pride and Prejudice with a very intelligent heroine, but I get the feeling you are looking for action!?
