No Country For Old Men is about how, as society progresses, we become more violent and -for lack of a better word- evil!. In the end of the film Tommy Lee Jones does not catch the killer!. He then talks about a dream he had of his father, an old man, and how he lived!. He then says that he woke up!. and the movie ends abruptly!. This signifies that there is no happy ending, that the deeds of Chigurh will go unpunished, and -most importantly- that society's descent into the darkest recesses of what humans are capable will continue and not change!. This is where it gets its title!. Tommy Lee Jones is an old man who lives in the old way, and can't understand what the world is coming to!. In the end, wakes up and realizes what a dark place the world has become!. Hence the final line, "Then I woke up!." has two meanings!. No part 2, Cormack McCartney would have to write it, and that isn't likely!. His plots are very different in all his books, with no beginning and no end normally!. I rented this movie from Netflix and I guess cause its somewhat of a quiet movie in the beginning I did not keep my attention!. The only time I looked at the tv was when I heard gunshots!. I recently rented another movie and seen the previews for it and I SO wanna rent it again and try to pay attention!. I think it might possible be a really good movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
