Question: Remake of the Shining!?
It's not really a question, but wouldn't it be AWESOME if they remake it with Christian Bale as Jack Torrence, Naomi Watts as Wendy, Morgan Freeman as Dick Holloran, Anthony Hopkins as Delbert Grady, Kodi Smitt-Mcphee as Danny, and Neil Marshall would direct it!.(The guy who did The Descent!.)

I think it would be really cool to see a remake of this movie!. Only if they did it right though!. In the original I thought Shelley Duvall was a little too whiny and it was not very faithful to the book!. However I still think it was an okay movie!.

No, it would NOT be totally awesome they remade it, and NO, it is not good for Bale to be Jack Torrence (Jack Nicholson was PERFECT!), and YES, it is only YOU who thinks the original was miscast!. The only way it would be miscast is if they remade it with all those ones you put at the very top (Bale, Watts, Freeman, Hopkins, etc!.!.!.)!.
