Star Wars the clone wars?!

It is set in between ep II and ep III!. If you're familiar with the Clone Wars micro-series that was on TCN (The Cartoon Network) in 2003 & 2004 to help build the frenzy for the release of ep III then it can be narrowed down even further!. That micro-series consisted of 25 five minute long "Chapters" !.!.!. This movie and the new Clone Wars series that will debut on October 03, 2008 at 9PM EST on TCN are set in between chapter 21 and chapter 25 of that micro-series!. Some have said on this forum that the movie is just a remake of the micro-series !.!.!. nothing could be farther from the truth!. The movie and series ADD to the micro-series!. The movie that is in theaters right now is the pilot episode of the new series !.!.!. that's it!. People have been disappointed that the movie doesn't seem to have the grand sweeping story line that the other 6 had !.!.!. they're right but they don't know that it was never supposed to be that !.!.!. it was never even supposed to be a movie but as Lucas and the animated department sat watching some of the season one episodes on the theater sized screen a thought popped into his head !.!.!. he turned to the others there and said something to the effect of "Hey guys, what do you think about releasing the pilot to theaters so fans can see it on the big screen" !.!.!. it seemed like a good idea so they went with it!. Problem was that Lucas never really made it known that it was just the pilot and not another big movie!.
