I agree with that!. And you know after the death of Heath Ledger, Jack Nicholson said to the press "That's awful!.!.!.I warned him!." He didn't say what he warned him about, but I think it's because a dark role like that could really cause an impact on someone!.
Everyone poked fun at Heath Ledger for playing the Joker because he was going to "suck", and then once he died everyone loves him and hes the best actor ever!. Everyone's hatin because Johnny Depp might be the riddler, if he died after the making of the movie (I'd bet money on this) everyone would go crazy for it!.
Personally I think the Dark Knight was really good, but not "AMAZING!" The way they wrote Heath's script was totally off, he didn't portray Jack Napier like he should have!. It's not his fault though, it's the writers!. Anyway!.!.!.I hate how it's so over hyped just for the Joker, are you kidding me!? Everyone should be going to BATMAN movies to see BATMAN!. Not the joker!. Singling out one character is really dumb, and that's what pis sed me off the most!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

To those of you here who say this movie is "overrated", you shouldn't even have an opinion about films, because you are the same crowd that attends movies like "Mamma Mia!" and laughs at movies like "Baby Mama"!.
As for "The Dark knight" It has to be, one of, if not "THE" best movie of 2008!. Honestly the acting by all performers not just heath was excellent, the witty dialog and intricate plot was really worth the time spent watching!. If you enjoy action, Sci-fi, or just a well written movie, then this is straight up your alley!.
But hey!, don't take my word for it, just ask the record for biggest first weekend box-office openers since "The Titanic" or the $505,417,800(and still climbing) people spent to go see it!. I'm very sorry for you nay-sayers but the numbers simply don't lie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

As with most Hollywood productions these days, over hyped, over promised and under delivered!. I'm not saying performances aren't good, but i think in general if Hollywood let the films speak for themselves the public would enjoy them more!. They put all the best bits in the trailers, hype them to the hilt and you go in expecting, only to come out feeling slightly cheated!.!.!.!.!.!.Its extremley sad that Heath passed away, and his performance is brilliant, but the cynic in me thinks that Batman wouldn't have done quite so well if he had lived!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Personally, I loved 'The Dark Knight' and I didn't think it was overrated at all!. Nor do I think Heath Ledger's performance was overrated - he was truly chilling as the Joker and gave an excellent performance!. I think it must have been a very difficult role to deal with and he played it to perfection!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I thought, and have said many times (even on here) that it was very over rated; in part because of Heath's death!. Granted, he played a great Joker, but the movie itself left a lot to be desired and really ended up being worse than it could've because everyone's part except Batman and the Joker were pretty bad!.

I loved the movie!.!.!.!.period! It had nothing to do with Heath Ledger's death!. I've been a fan of Heath's since 10 Things I Hate About You!. I think he was a spectacular actor who never got the recognition he deserved because is got labeled as a pretty boy!. I am also a huge fan of Christian Bale's since Newsies and I think Heath out acted him!. However, I do think that people did go see it just because of Heath and they may not have gone to see it otherwise!. I believe that Heath was phenomenal and deserves the Oscar!. This is now my favorite Batman and Begins is my second favorite!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
