I just bought lord of the rings trilogy?!
Question: I just bought lord of the rings trilogy!?
Only problem is the dvd player said (wrong region)!. I live in the UK and the box set is an american one i bought over here in a second hand shop!. Is there anyway i can combat this or should i just take it back!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Here's the thing, Europe has the PAL video encoding system while North America has NTSC!. So unless your DVD player is able to play both, there is no trick to get it to play your LOTR dvd!. Just google your brand of DVD player with 'switch region' or something similar in your keywords!. Even looking in your owner's manual will most likely tell you if you can switch the region!.

Otherwise either return the set or get a DVD player which plays all regions :) OR if you have a DVD player on your PC, you can watch it on that!.

I believe you can go to the set-up option on your dvd player by using the remote and change it that way!. I almost believe I had gone through the same thing once before!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
