-It, even being a Spanish version of Alice in Wonderland is still a very dark, disturbing little tale!.
-It is about a young girl who meets a faun who offers to heal her sick mother in exchange for 3 tasks to be completed!. She completes the tasks, though sometimes not listening to the faun, which angers him extremely!. In the end, the faun says that because she did not listen, he will take her newborn brother in exchange for her!. She refuses, saying she will take his place, but is shot by her sadistic stepfather!.

SPOILER!!!
The story ends with her being transported to the Underworld, the fauns realm, where it turns out the faun is a servant of her true father and mother, the King and Queen!. She becomes the new ruler of the Underworld!.

-It was very gory!.!.!. examples: the stepfather being cut, joker style, with a wine bottle; an interrogation scene and its brutal finale

-Definetly not a kids movie!!! Plenty of language as well!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is not scary at all!. It's like Alice in Wonderland sort of but kind of weird!. A young girl ventures into this labyrinth because she's trying to become like a princess or something!. It's a bit hard to understand because it's in spanish and I'm bad at paying attention to the subtitles!. There are like trolls and fairies and stuff in it!.
There is one really gross gorey part where a man gets his head smashed in by this other guy repeatedly with a pole thing!. It's like the general guy who does it (it's during the spanish civil war or sometime near it)!. I'm sorry this isn't very descriptive I saw it a few years ago but it's definitely not scary so just close your eyes during the gross part and you'll have to watch it to find out the ending! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

There was this one scene that I found to be frightening, but I would not call it a horror movie!. It is definitely not a children's movie!. There was some violence, but just a couple of short scenes from what I remember!. It deals with a time of war, and there is some fantasy aspects to it because the main character is an imaginative little girl!. I don't want to spoil the ending, although you do kinda see what it is in the very beginning of the movie!. It's a good movie, and I'd say it's worth watching!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

*spoilers*

its a fantasy movie about a princess who escapes from the underworld and dies in the real world!. the king of the underworld sends out a faun to look for her in the form of a reincarnated girl!. the faun sets a young girl 3 tasks to complete to prove she is the princess!. in the end, she completes the tasks, but dies by gunshot wound from her stepfather!. as she lays dying, she becomes the princess of the underworld and rules for centuries!. or it may just be her dying wish, you never know for sure!. it is very gory, there are some truly shocking acts of violence in the film!. it definitely earns its R-rating!. i dont know why people talk about religious views with that movie, it is more about fascism and how that movement encouraged people to live their lives according to rules laid out by a dictator!. the stepfather is the dictator in the story and by defying him, the girl proves that by making the right choice and following her heart she is a truly noble individual!. the movie is about making the right choices to be a better person!. it is not religious in any way; in fact, it could be considered pagan in some senseWww@Enter-QA@Com

It's definitely NOT a kids film!. I would put the balance as being 60% Spanish Civil War and 'real life' things and 40% fantasy!. There aren't really that many religous overtones that I can remember, but I've not seen it for a while!.

There are some really awful bits in it, it is scary at times but it is well worth the watch!. It's a fantastic film!. Although don't watch a dubbed version, you lose a lot of the feeling that comes from seeing a film in its native language!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Definitely watch it!. There's a little bit of a religious view if you pick up on it at the end!. But it's only if you want to view it that way!. I don't really think it's like that Narnia movie, it's not meant to be a religious tribute!.

But seriously!.!.!.you won't regret watching it!. EXCELLENT movie!. there's a few scenes that may be painful to watch but it's really worth a few seconds of being frightened!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its not horror, but there are some creepy parts!. Its in sub tittles!. i do NOT recomenc it for kids!. the girls step father is a military leader type and people do die and he kills some cruely!. its about a girl who is trying to help her mother with her pregnancy but mostly she's on a quest and has to complete these tasks

SPOILER:SPOILER:SPOILER

it ends with Pan asking for her new born sibling as a sacrifice but she refuses and her step father shoots her!. the baby lives and the girl is like in this kindom after she dies, (not really religious) she doesn't know she like diied but that she made it to the magical kingdom!. sad, touching endingWww@Enter-QA@Com

It is not a horror movie, it is more of a fantasy with political overtones!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
