Black people, what do you think of this movie?!

Question: Black people, what do you think of this movie!?
I'm a independent filmaker and i'm working on a movie called "Courage!." It is a movie about a black police officer who investigates the racially motivated murder of two black teenagers by two white men!. The cop looks goes on a manhunt to find the men, but his search hits a bump when accquaintances of the two white men find out where his family lives and kidanps his wife and two kids!. The friends of the white men get the cop's phone number in the process and call him up!. They tell him"You better throw the case ****** or your family dies!." The cop says he 'll do whatever they want and to let his family go!. They laugh at him and hang up!. The thugs then rape his wife in front his kids and murders her!. They then murder his kids!. After 2 weeks, the police eventually find the bodies of his family!. The cop then goes into an emotional breakdown and his captain takes him off the case!. After the cop buries his family 3 weeks later, he demands that his captain put him back on the case!. After that he leads the charge and finds the white men responsible for the muderers of the teenagers and his family!. He and his partners get into a shootout with the criminals and kill them all!. After that, the cop goes home looks in the mirror, reflects on the case and what it cost him and cries!. He then goes to the graves of his mudered family the next day and says "Courage is my Savior!." He then kisses all three of their tombstones and leaves!. What do you guys think!? Is the plot too contrversial!? Could the movie do well!? I want to become one of the next black directors to take Hollywood by storm and i would love your input and opinions!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

With a little more attention to the plot points, I think you have a good working idea for a script here!. It has all the elements that make a good thriller/action film, but you're walking a tight-rope with the main character, the protagonist!. Think Charles Bronson or The lead character in Paparazzi,a good film of this kind that came out a few years ago!. You'll have no trouble gaining sympathy for the guy,but from a police procedural stand point,he could demand all he wants to to be put back on the case, but his Lieutenant would forbid it as he's way too close to be objective(This would be a great tension-building moment in the script)so, unbeknowest to anyone save a very goodfriendd,he goes rogue, finding ever more elaborate ways to get to the guys who killed his family!. His boss might suspect, but has no way to prove, that it's him(he's a forensics expert and maybe he jokes earlier in the narrative to his buddy that he could kill and notleavee a trace of evidence!.See what you thinkWww@Enter-QA@Com

Why does race matter!? but it sounds interesting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i'm not black, but i think it sounds like a good movie!. i would definitely go see it if it were in theaters!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It does sound interesting, but there is one major plot problem!. Why would the kidnappers kill his family, thus removing any hold they would have over the cop!? Once his family is dead, he has no reason to back off the investigation!. Yes, I know you have his captain take him off the case because of his emotional state (was his family buried three weeks after the bodies were found, or one!?), but it makes no sense from the kidnappers' perspective!. Perhaps killing one of his kids would send a message, thus adding the element that he has to free his wife and child along with meting out justice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
