1) The Curious Case of Bengamin Buttons (The new brad pitt movie where he ages backwards)
2) Revoluntary Road (Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio reteam for the 1st time since titantic)
3) Australia (Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman Star)
4) Changeling (Clint eastwood movies always do well)
5) The Road (This is a wild card, but if it is as good as the book it is defintely a contender)
Wall-E: I might get nominated but it would be a first!. Defintely best animanted movie though
Burn After Reading: Seen it and it is not what the academy goes for

It's still too early to tell since we still have the fall season which boasts almost all of the Oscar nominees!.
But from what I have seen so far I'd say that The Dark Knight and Wall-E will both have a really good chance to be nominated for Best Picture!. And Wall-E will most likely win Best Animated Feature, since it really doesn't have any competition in that category!.
Although I disagree with you 100% on thinking Righteous Kill will be nominated!. It was a pretty bad movie, and it isn't even up to the quality that all Oscar nominations have!. Sure it had good acting from the two leads, but it was one of the most mundane cop thrillers I've ever seen!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought Heath Ledger did an amazing job in The Dark Knight!. Just the sheer!.!.!.cold madness of the Joker!. He captured the character perfectly, and deserves best supporting actor for that!.
