There are 3 Official books in the series, and 3 sub-plot books that are unofficial to the series!. There is a possibility of another film, but it's highly unlikely the filmmakers will fall through on this project, considering the 3 sub-story books weren't written by Robert Ludlum, the writer of the first 3 novels!. I wouldn't count on seeing the project anytime soon, but if you do, the title will probably be one of the following!.

soon after Ultimatum came out, Damon was asked if he'd ever do a 4th movie, since there wasnt a book out that it could be based on!. (the 4th book is considered a side story, not part of the series)!.
Damon said that if someone could come up with a story line worthy of a movie he'd consider it!.
so either they are going to do the 4th book or a new story line!.
