Please someone else say you think it was an awful idea to make a sequel to Donnie Darko!. I'm sorry, but seriously you cannot make a good sequel to the film no matter how many new actors you bring to it (like One Tree Hills James Lafferty, Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl or Jackson Rathbone from Twilight)!.
I don't see why people in Hollywood always have to make these sequels to films that ended and stood out on their own!. Why can't they just leave them be and think of a different idea for their next film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A Darko movie is no good without Jake Gyllenhaal, and his character died and it should have ended there!. No one gives a flying f*ck about Samantha!. It's going to be horrible, they should have left it alone!. We don't need a sequel!. I wonder if Jake is insulted, haha :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just a typical attempt by the Hollywood studios to flog a dead horse for the purpose of seeing how many loyal fans of the first film, can be exploited like suckers in order to get them to shell out $$ to see the latest string of eye candy under the guise of the previous movie's now infamous storyline!.
Which of course, could not even be vaguely similar, for the obvious reasons!.
