Question: In the movie " To Kill A Mockingbird" who was boo( or is it Beau) that came and saved Atticus Son and Daughter!?
I also want to know why Atticus didn't hit that man who spit in his face,when he went to tell the family that the black man on trial Killed himself(basically!) or did they kill him on purpose!? just curious!.!.So help a sista out!.!.!.Movie was great!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Arthur "Boo" Radley, played by Robert Duvall, is a shy, reclusive neighbor!. He saves Scout and Jem from harm by killing Bob Ewell, who has attacked Scout!. Bob Ewell is the same one who had spit in Atticus Finch's face!. Attorney and widower Atticus Finch is a non-violent man (yes, he shoots the dog, but only because it is rabid and a danger) who tries to teach his children to walk in another's shoes before you pass judgment on him!. So with incredible tolerance, he takes Ewell's abusive spit in his face!. And at the end of the movie, grateful Scout lets go of her previous superstition and fear of kindly Arthur Radley and welcomes Arthur lovingly: she has learned her father's lesson well!. By the way, it is Arthur Radley who left the children small gifts in the tree early in the movie!. If you read the book by Harper Lee, you'll learn of another wonderful kind act that Arthur does for the children!. :)
