Lord of the Rings movie question.....?!
Question: Lord of the Rings movie question!.!.!.!.!.!?
Is it just me or did the LOTR (LORD OF THE RINGS) movies ruin movie watching for anyone else!? what I mean is that they were so good I cant find anything that even comes close to these movies!. I used to watch movies 3-4 nights a week now I cant get satisfaction from anything I have seen in the last 5 years!. I have all but quit watching flicks!. the only thing I have to look forward to is the release of the HOBBIT!. granted there are some ok movies that have been released in the comedy (Napoleon Dynamite being about the best) genera but I haven't seen any goods ones in the action/fantasy genera!. does anyone else feel this way!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Definitely!. The action sequences filmed by Peter were non-comparable to any other by far!. Movies, especially fantasy, just seem to be a disappointment!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I love those movies, but there are tons of other good movies out there, depending on what type you like of course none can exactly compare to sets, fantasy elements, characters, etc of these films!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't feel the same way, but movies I do feel have taken a "quantity is job one" approach!. The sheer volume of movies, might actually lessen the quality of them!. LOTR was a unique movie experience because the story was so epic and drew you in!. The movies also had a large following because of the books!. They took their time making the films and made sure they got it right!. The M!.O!. now is to take a good story and turn it back out into a movie quicker than the Roadrunner!. The quality again suffers!.
As for your dilemma, a prof!. of mine from college always said that we are to always watch a movie the first time as a believer, and then the second time we can draw hard conclusions and analyze!.
So my advice is to try and widen your genre base of movies and watch it as a believer the first time; meaning allow yourself to get drawn in to the world they create!. You'll have much more fun that way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
