With regard to I am legend, this was adapted from a science fiction book by an author named Cooper!. The point he was making in the book was that what had been regarded as "monsters" ie the vampires had now become the norm and what had been regarded as the norm ie the one surviving human had now become "the murdering monster!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
X-Men: The Last Stand was an attempt to convey the drama presented in Marvel Comics' X-Men "Dark Phoenix Saga" story from the early 1980's!. The attempt failed, however, due to lack of proper character development, poor acting direction, and a poor script!.
I Am Legend is an attempt to merge Richard Matheson's novel "I Am Legend" (Richard Matheson, not "Cooper") with the type of zombie monsters found in 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later!. The attempt is largely successful, although somewhat flawed due to the attempt to provide a "message" relating to God in a film where it doesn't really fit!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am legend is a remake of omega man(chelton heston), which i believe was a remake itself of an earlier film also called iam legend, which was based on a book!. You would need to read the book to know what message should have been coming across unfornately the film like xmen 3 were made more of making big profits at the box officeWww@Enter-QA@Com
I think too many people are looking for "hidden meanings" in movies today!. Why can't we just watch a movie to be entertained!? That's what classic movies are all about!. I love to sit back and not have to try and weed out the deep philosophical or emotional underlying theme!. Just grab some popcorn and enjoy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
