Question: Isn't it kind of sexist to have a movie without any males in it like in "The Women" movie!?
In interviews the cast admitted that there were no onscreen roles for male actors, however there were males on the crew, but isn't it kind of sexist to exclude male actors from a movie!?
I'm currently watching the 1939 original and so far there are no male actors in this movie either!. Yes I know its a movie about women but still, a part of me feels that this is wrong!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Why do you think that is wrong!? It's a movie made almost exclusively for women and that's obvious!. I suspect the script calls for the absence, or at least minimization of men, and there likely won't be many other fllms like it!. There was a time when Hollywood insisted that there be at least one woman in any war movie, and one film featured a mule named Maude to take care of that requirement (or rather drive home the fact that there are situations which don't have any female presences)!. I'd say you are just looking at conceit that likely will not appear in many movies, not a form of reverse sexism!.
