i love asian horror films so i'd have to say:
chakushin ari (one missed call)
ringu (the ring)
ju-on (the grudge)
even if you have seen the american version you should still watch the asian version because it is usually like 100 times better!.
and battle royale is my favorite movie ever!.
it's kindof like an action film but it's still scary!.
you should definitely check it out!.
none of those are new, however!. but i personally think that about 90% of the horror films that have come out in the past 5 years have been pretty bad!. but that's just my opinion!.
