the beginning of the movie confuses me!.!.!.commodore Norington was in the scene!.and he hasnt change 8-10 years later!.!.!.so the commodore would be 25 in the beginning and Elizabeth would be 12!.!.!.so 10 years later the commodore would propose to elizbeth when she is 22 and he as age 35 or something!.!.!.is that how it goes because he should look much older by now!.!.!.this bothered me for a while i dont really get it!.!.!.!.thx for the answers Www@Enter-QA@Com

Didn't they change the colour of his wig to white to imply age or higher status!?

The continuity of the first scenes of Pirates 1 have great problems for people who aren't jsut willing to let the details slide!.
For Norrington they expected the audience to just naturally assume that because Keria's chraricter aged, so had Norringtons!. However his (Norrington's) demeanor does age, as does his style of his dress, this includes the wig!.

I think it's because they made him use the same wig and everything, they probably didn't think about making him look any older!. I'm not really sure!. Maybe he was suppose to be one of those men that never look any different!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
