I love that movie!
It takes place in New England (can't remember the state) in the late 40's!. It happens at a big, old spooky mansion!.
It was raining cats & dogs, so it was kind of a dreary "feeling", and Timy Curry (the butler) appeared at first solemn!. Then he stepped in dog doo at the door!. There was a feeling of mystery as each of the guests arrived, because they had no idea why they had been invited!.
The Butler (Tim Curry) - wore a tux with tails and, well, looked like a Butler, and had a British accent!.
Mr!. Boddy (Lee Ving) - seemed like a sleazy guy, dressed in dark clothes!.
Mrs!. White - Wore black with a black veil (she was a widow)!. She had a high-pitched voice and was kind of snobby!. She had had several husbands who died and had been suspected of killing all of them!. (A "black widow")
Mrs!. Peacock - an older lady in her 60's who wore frumpy clothes and a feathered hat and cat's-eye glasses!. Very loud and obnoxious!. Talks too much!.
Professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd) - a tall, pipe-smoking teacher who wears glasses!.
Mr!. Green - also wears glasses, kind of nerdy!. A "gay" informant!.
Miss Scarlet - beautiful, great body, wears green dress!. Owner of a bordello!.
Col!. Mustard - Heavy-set older man in 50's, mustache, retired military, Has the calmest demeanor, take-charge kind of guy!.
Yvette (the maid) - wears over-the-top French maid uniform to go with over-the-top French accent!. Nice body!.

It has been a long time since I saw the movie!. It was the first movie that had 3 different endings and depending on which theater you went to, which ending you saw!. Made for interesting buzz after the first week in theaters before everyone started to catch on!.
