Question: If Luke had become the Emperor's apprentice what would he have done with Darth Vader!?

Less a rule, and more of a guideline!. Remember how the Emperor (then Chancellor) encouraged Anikin to kill Count Duku!? The Emperor would have had Luke and Vader fight to the death!. I think it is sort of an "Only the Strong Survive" mentality!. If Vader were not strong enough to defeat Luke, then he would not be strong enough to be the Emperor's Apprentice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, Darth Vader had done quite a bit of helpful stuff for the Emperor, so the Emperor probably wouldn't have ditched him, but he would demote him and turn all his attention to Luke!. After all, Luke is younger, and the Emperor values youth, as he showed in picking Anakin to be his apprentice all those years ago!. Darth Vader would probably fade into the background!.
