Answers:
"Hell in the Pacific" is by far the better of the two films, but it isn't the best World War II movie!. For personal reasons, having to do with my tour of duty in Vietnam, I enjoy "Castle Keep" more than any other movie about World War II, but I know that very few other people would agree with me about that!. I suspect that most people wouldn't nominate either of the films you nominate as your penultimate choices!.

The generation that was old enough to remember W!.W!.II but was too young to actually get involved might overwhelming pick "From Here To Eternity" as the best W!.W!. II movie!. My "baby boomer" generation might pick the Audie Murphy bio-film, "To Hell and Back," or possibly "Catch 22!." Later generations might agree on "Enemy at the Gates" or "Schindler's List!." Any film to which the term "best" is assigned is going to be a subjective favorite, and be based on when someone saw it, why they liked it, and what they think of World War II!.

I doubt there is a definative answer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
