The Women 1930s version or todays remake?!

Question: The Women 1930s version or todays remake!?
I've seen the original Women many times and saw the remake this week!. Anyone else seen both, and liked one over the other!?

I certainly liked Rosalind Russel's Sylvia Fowler more than Annette Benning's!.

Does anyone else think that Meg Ryan's face lift is scary!? She looks a bit like Heath Ledger as the Joker!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The fashion was the most disappointing thing to me about the remake!. I *knew* Meg Ryan would look tore up in her face, I *knew* the acting would be not-great, and I *knew* they would make it less of a satire than the original!. But I consoled myself with the thought that there would be some lovely clothes!. But no!. Annette Bening looked like she was stuck in 1992 for the whole film, Meg Ryan was schlumpy at the beginning (though I seriously covet that coat she had on later in the film), Debra Messing looked cute but not FABULOUS, and Jada's clothes were just basics!. Why!?!? Why was this movie necessary!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Are you referring to Little Women!. I liked the original more but the other was good!.
Meg Ryan reminds me more of Jack Nicholson's Joker because of the cheek bones and smile!. See pic www!.britfilms!.tv
All she needs is the white makeup!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like the 1930's version better!. The actresses in that movie are phenomenal!. The new version is ok but just dont compare to the 1930's version!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
